Meet Jerome Dazzell
Jerome Dazzell is a seasoned technology executive and strategic innovator with more than a decade of experience leading enterprise IT transformation, data strategy, and cybersecurity across the nonprofit, education, and social impact sectors.
A first-generation immigrant from Guyana, Jerome’s story began in the Bronx, where he attended New York City public schools and Lehman College. His early experiences navigating complex systems without access to financial or digital resources shaped his lifelong commitment to building technology that empowers people and advances equity.
Most recently, Jerome served as Senior Vice President of IT & Systems Operations (Acting CIO) at Per Scholas, where he architected and scaled the organization’s enterprise technology ecosystem—from a single-person function to a 13-member team supporting over 570 staff across 22+ campuses nationwide. In this role, he led major initiatives in Salesforce platform optimization, cloud integration, data governance, and cybersecurity, aligning technology infrastructure with mission, efficiency, and impact. Under his leadership, Per Scholas realized measurable outcomes including hundreds of thousands in SaaS cost savings, enhanced data validity, streamlined donor and student pipelines, and improved enterprise-wide collaboration.
Jerome is recognized for his ability to bridge strategic vision with operational execution, managing multimillion-dollar technology portfolios and driving cross-functional innovation. His leadership philosophy is grounded in empathy, accountability, and inclusion—creating cultures where teams are empowered to innovate, grow, and deliver measurable results.
In addition to his executive work, Jerome founded Dazzell Consulting, a pro bono consultancy supporting nonprofits in digital strategy, IT governance, and Salesforce optimization. His firm has helped organizations enhance data visibility, strengthen cybersecurity posture, and modernize workflows—all through sustainable, human-centered solutions.
Throughout his career, Jerome has championed the use of technology as a force for social good. His expertise spans AI and automation strategy, cybersecurity frameworks, cloud transformation, and data-driven decision-making. He has presented at industry events including Salesforce Dreamforce and the NYC World Tours, and is widely regarded for his thought leadership at the intersection of digital innovation and equity.
Driven by purpose and guided by principle, Jerome continues to build technology ecosystems that not only support organizational success but also drive systemic change—ensuring technology remains an enabler of opportunity, inclusion, and lasting impact.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems and a Master of Science in Information Technology. He is also a graduate of the Cybersecurity Leadership Program from the SANS Institute and the Mastering Leadership Dynamics program from the Truist Leadership Institute.
